ABOUT

Perdido Beach is a small town in California.  Nothing out of the ordinary happens there. (Well, unless you count an incident at the nuclear power plant 14 years ago, but no one really likes to talk about that.)  That is, until, on one regular November day, out of nowhere, everyone over the age of 15 disappears.  To add to the mystery, an impenetrable barrier forms around Perdido Beach and the surrounding area.  Animals have been mutating and kids are developing some very strange…abilities.

The citizens of the FAYZ - Fallout Alley Youth Zone - must try to unlock the answers to these mysteries while keeping safe from each other, starvation, the dangerous animals in the desert, and the ominous creature in the mine shack who seeks to destroy them all.  

Welcome to the FAYZ.

(The Gone series will be made up of 6 books - Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague, Fear, and Light.  The first 4 are out already, Fear is out in some places and will be officially released on April 3rd, 2012, and Light is due to come out in 2013.)
